Science Teacher
Mater Dei Academy is currently seeking a full-time science teacher. The successful candidate will be fully committed to the mission and ethos of the Academy. Experience in the Cambridge IGCSE (Cambridge course 0653) and/or Irish Leaving Certificate programmes in Chemistry/Physics is desirable although not essential. The ideal candidate will have an undergraduate degree in the mathematics or science, or a related discipline. While experience in second-level education is desirable, it is not essential and candidates from alternative backgrounds in industry or elsewhere who can demonstrate teaching competency are encouraged to apply.

Múinteoir na Gaeilge
Mater Dei Academy is currently seeking a full-time Irish teacher. The successful candidate will be fully committed to the mission and ethos of the Academy. Experience in the TEG and/or Irish Leaving Certificate programmes is desirable although not essential. The ideal candidate will have an undergraduate or postgraduate degree in Irish. While experience in second-level education is desirable, it is not essential and candidates from alternative who can demonstrate teaching competency are encouraged to apply.

Latin and Classics Teacher
Mater Dei Academy is currently seeking a full-time (39 hours per week) Latin and Classics teacher. The successful candidate will be fully committed to the mission and ethos of the Academy. Experience in the IGCSE and/or Irish Leaving Certificate programmes is desirable although not essential. Essential requirements for this post are a liberal arts degree (level 6 or equivalent) in Classics, English, History or Latin with a minimum of two years classroom experience of teaching Latin or Classical Studies. A demonstrated commitment to service and scholarly activity is required. Minimum remuneration for this position: €34,000.
